Why Use Our Diagnostic Tool?

Garage doors can develop similar symptoms for completely different reasons.

A door that won’t open could be caused by a broken spring, damaged motor, faulty remote, snapped cable, limit settings or something much simpler.

By collecting a few details upfront, our team can review the information before contacting you and recommend the most appropriate solution.

In many cases, we can identify the likely cause from your description and photos alone.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a repair booking?

No.

This is an enquiry and diagnostic service that helps us understand your issue before recommending the most appropriate solution. If a repair is required, we’ll discuss the available options with you after reviewing your enquiry.

Can you diagnose my problem from photos?

Often, yes.

Photos and videos provide valuable information and, in many cases, allow us to identify the likely cause before speaking with you.

What if I don't know what type of garage door I have?

That’s completely fine.

Leave those fields blank if you’re unsure. We’ll use the information and photos you provide to identify your door where possible.

Will you tell me if I can fix it myself?

If it’s something straightforward and safe to do, we’ll always point you in the right direction.

However, some garage door components—particularly springs, cables and high-tension mechanisms—can be dangerous to work on and should only be repaired by trained technicians.

What happens after I submit my enquiry?

Our team will review the details you’ve provided and contact you with the most appropriate recommendation, whether that’s identifying a replacement part, suggesting further troubleshooting, or advising that professional servicing is required.
